Spring Chinook
(February - June)
These fabulous tasting fish can be caught in a
variety of Oregon's rivers. In the heart of
downtown Portland is the Willamette River, one
of the best angling opportunities for Spring
Salmon.
One of our favorites is the Sandy River located
just minutes from Portland.
Upriver Brights
(August -
October)
Again the Columbia river
spells angling opportunity for Upriver Bright
Salmon. It's only a short drive from Portland
for some beautiful scenery and exciting fishing.
Fall Chinook
(September -
November)
The Sandy River near Portland Oregon produces
good numbers of Fall Chinook and Coho Salmon.
This is a smaller river that meanders through
wooded private and public land and state forest.
Many anglers enjoy Oregon's scenic Tillamook Bay
and surrounding coastal rivers. Tillamook is one
of the top fishing spots for
trophy size Chinook Salmon, otherwise known as
Tillamook Hogs. These ocean fresh fish are
hard fighting and can range from 20 to 60
pounds each. Join us for a guided fishing trip
at Garibaldi Oregon where you too can have a
shot of hooking into one of these truly
magnificent fish.
